A 2nd generation Arizonan and west-side native, she was raised by a teacher and a civil servant. She graduated from ASU.
Teri has made a career successfully collaborating with entrepreneurs, educators and business leaders in New York, Los Angels and since 2002, in the Metro Phoenix area.
A small business owner and job-creator, Teri has spent the last decade serving families in the Northwest Valley. As a real estate broker, she’s sat at countless kitchen tables helping guide families through one of the biggest decisions of their lives. At those kitchen tables, listening to families, Teri learned first-hand how to advocate for Arizonans, what makes each neighborhood unique here in the Northwest valley, and the challenges faced by each.
She’s worked in the not-for-profit sector with the Lincoln Center for Performing Arts partnering with educators in the New York City public school system to bring arts into the classroom.
Teri and her husband of 10 years, Dr. John Sarmiento have and lived and worked in north Peoria for over a decade, They have 2 sons and a Boxer named Patrick.
